Tag cloud
I do not get it, whenever I click a tag in the tag clouds I’ve installed, there comes the odd 404 error again.
Funny thing is when I install a tag cloud the first time, a clicked tag works and it nicely brings me to the post which I tagged it with it, after that it just stops working and the 404 error shows up again.
Is there anybody out there with the understanding about what I can do to get my tags to work properly. If that is so give me a response and explain where the fix lies, because I really need some help with this, thanx in advance!
I am trying these three plugins and it’s obvious that it is not the plugins that are causing the trouble, but the tags themselves.

I also did a theme change, but it didn’t bring the solution either.
Whenever I click a tag from one of the tag clouds, the URL looks something like this:
http://buyonicle.com/vierwielaandrijving,fourwheeldrive,4wd,awd,abs,esp,asr/the-matrix/
I can understand that if the server gets an URL like that, it returns a 404 error because what does a URL like that communicate anyway.

I found out that a link from a tag like the-matrix ,that leads to one or more posts should look like this
http://buyonicle.com/tag/the-matrix/
instead of this ;
http://buyonicle.com/vierwielaandrijving,fourwheeldrive,4wd,awd,abs,esp,asr/the-matrix/
So what is causing the problem?

Finally I solved the problem, I was looking in my Settings menu under Permalinks and I found the following undesirable sequence:
I am not sure why these settings under “Category base” and “Tag base“were changed, was it a mistake I made myself, or was it something the WP- software did. I cannot imagine the WP- software does this on it’s own so maybe I changed them.
You can see now why my links were like this:

This string “vierwielaandrijving,fourwheeldrive,4wd,awd,abs,esp,asr” was brought in by the “Tag base” textfield into the link, when I clikced the Tag “the matrix” in my Tag cloud and it should not have brought that in.
Anyway I emptied the two textboxes “Category base” and “Tag base“, saved the changes and behold when I clicked the Tags in my tag cloud, they brought me straight to the posts I tagged them with, end good all good. This all brought me a headacke and a sleepless night, so I stood up early and like always when you step away from a problem for a while and the return to it afterward, most of the times, you suddenly see how to tackle your problems and you can resolve whatevers wrong.
